Dalesa M. Bady, ACAS, MAAA (she/her/hers)

Actuary
GuideOne Insurance

Dalesa Bady is an actuary with GuideOne Insurance working from Dallas, Texas. She holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin and has worked in the property/casualty insurance industry since 2011.

Prior to joining GuideOne Insurance, Dalesa worked as a consulting actuary for Pinnacle Actuarial Resources and was previously employed by USAA where she was primarily responsible for developing insurance rates for personal auto and property lines of business. She has experience in personal and commercial lines ratemaking, product development, funding analyses, as well as communicating and partnering with leadership to effectively plan and push toward company strategic and operational goals.

Dalesa has been an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) since 2018. She is an active member of the CAS Leadership Development Committee and has been involved in multiple CAS student pipeline and university engagement efforts. She is also an active member of the International Association of Black Actuaries (IABA) and current chair of the Student Programs Committee for IABA.
