Nick Hamwey

Actuarial Director
Cambridge Mobile Telematics

Nicholas Hamwey is the current actuarial director at Cambridge Mobile Telematics. Being an actuary for a telematics provider comprises of analyzing driving data across the world for the purposes of risk assessment and claims handling. Nick uses a combination of actuarial science, data science and software engineering on a daily basis to make data driven decisions from petabytes of telematics based sensor data.
Nick is a Fellow in the CAS with over 10 years of experience working across the insurance and insuretech industries, and he has served as a CAS Exam committee volunteer for the past 5 years.
